Terms & Conditions Please review our policies before booking. By completing a reservation, you acknowledge and accept the following Terms & Conditions. 1. Reservations & Check-In All reservations must be made through our online booking platform and require a deposit. Bookings are subject to availability and typically confirmed within six hours. If your requested schedule is unavailable, we will offer alternatives or issue a full deposit refund. Guests must check in at our dive shop at least 30 minutes before their scheduled activity to complete documentation, verify certifications, arrange equipment, and settle outstanding balances. Hotel Pick-Ups: Available only from eligible oceanfront accommodations south of our shop, along our route to the reefs. Certain locations incur a $5–$10 USD fee per person, per day. Guests requesting hotel pick-up must check in at our shop the day before or on their first diving day. Direct pick-up without shop check-in is available by prior arrangement only for guests who bring their own equipment, pay in full, and complete all digital waivers. All pick-ups require advance confirmation. 2. Payments & Equipment All prices are in USD. Outstanding balances are due at check-in. We accept USD and MXN cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. Fixed exchange rate: $19 MXN per $1 USD. Credit cards are charged in Mexican pesos. A 5% transaction fee applies to card and PayPal payments. Cruise ship reservations require full payment in advance. Equipment Requirements: Dive computers are mandatory. Rentals are available and included in our complete rental package. Guests renting regulators must bring a compatible personal mouthpiece or purchase a new one for $5 USD. 3. Diving Safety & Marine Park Rules Certified divers must present proof of certification from a recognized agency and complete all required digital liability waivers before arrival. All participants must follow their Divemaster's or instructor's instructions, Scuba Life Cozumel's safety standards, and Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park regulations. We reserve the right to deny or discontinue diving privileges when a guest's conduct compromises safety or violates park regulations. As a DAN Business Member, we strongly recommend obtaining appropriate diving accident insurance. 4. Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellation deadlines are calculated from the start of your first scheduled diving activity. 7 days or more before: Full refund of your booking deposit. Less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before:50% refund of your booking deposit. Less than 48 hours before: No refund, including same-day cancellations and missed departures. Eligible refunds are processed within 15 days, generally through PayPal. Non-refundable Stripe processing fees may be deducted from credit card refunds where permitted by law. Cruise Ship Passengers: Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, including those caused by cruise delays, itinerary changes, mechanical issues, or time-zone misunderstandings. Weather Cancellations: A full refund will be issued for activities canceled due to an official port closure by the Cozumel Harbor Master. 5. Cruise Ship Passenger Information Morning Trip * Check-in: 8:30 AM * Departure: 9:00 AM * Return: Approximately 1:30–2:00 PM Afternoon Trip * Check-in: 1:30 PM * Departure: 2:00 PM * Return: Approximately 6:30 PM All schedules follow Cozumel local time, which may differ from your ship's time. Guests are responsible for verifying their cruise schedule and arriving on time. Boats depart promptly, and missed departures within the non-refundable cancellation window will not be refunded. Full payment is required to confirm cruise reservations. Reservation changes must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and possible additional charges. Rental equipment can be added during booking through the Extras screen. Cruise Terminal Transportation: We do not offer cruise terminal pick-ups. Our shop is located at Marina Fonatur, a few minutes by taxi from the International Cruise Terminal and Puerta Maya, and approximately 15 minutes from Punta Langosta. Please allow sufficient time for disembarkation, transportation, and your return to the ship. 6. Acceptance of Terms By completing a reservation, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions and are responsible for informing all members of their reservation.
